The first two restaurants are opened, William owning Fredbear's and Henry owning Fazbear's. William is not practicing proper health and safety with the springlock suits and ends up in a springlock failure. Fredbear's then starts to lose business.

Henry's resturant is shut down for unknown reasons. Cooper is lifted into the jaws of fredbear and the locking mechanism fails and closes on his head, he was able to survive due to Michael sticking his arms between fredbears jaw, stopping it from crushing his head completely. Fredbear's then closes.

William and his wife Kathrine divorce and Michael moves back to England with his mom while Cooper and Elizabeth stay with Will. Henry and William also reconnect during this time and discuss both of their failed business'. They eventually decide it would be a brilliant idea to work together and open up another restaurant with brand new animatronics.

The new toy animatronics are built with a criminal scanning database, this then backfires and they "apprehend" two of the security guards, one on the day shift and one on the night shift. Unfortunetly, the night guard doesn't make it, the news quickly spreads and Henry and William are forced to shut down the restaurant again. They face alot of legal stuff and somehow get out without too much loss.

William is desperate to give his dreams another shot and they open the current restaurant with Henry's old fazbear animatronics. Unfortunetely for them, their reputation proceeds them and many people are still unwilling to visit. Hence why they are currently trying everything to change people's minds.
